Chiều 14.9, tại khu vực biển Hòn Rơm (phường Mũi Né, tỉnh Lâm Đồng) xảy ra vụ đuối nước khiến 2 phụ nữ tử vong.
Theo thông tin ban đầu từ chính quyền phường Mũi Né, vụ việc xảy ra khoảng 17 giờ. Hai phụ nữ xuống biển tắm sau khi bán xong hải sản tại khu vực bờ biển Hòn Rơm. Một lát sau, người dân phát hiện cả 2 bị đuối nước nên tri hô, tổ chức cứu hộ.
Khi được đưa vào bờ, một nạn nhân đã tử vong. Nạn nhân còn lại được người dân tích cực sơ cứu tại chỗ nhưng cũng tử vong sau đó.
Đáng chú ý, thời điểm xảy ra vụ đuối nước, biển Hòn Rơm khá yên tĩnh, không có sóng cao.

Tuy nhiên, theo một số ngư dân địa phương, quan sát trên mặt biển cho thấy khu vực này có dòng chảy rút mạnh ở bên dưới.
Công an phường Mũi Né đã phối hợp với cơ quan chức năng đến hiện trường để xác minh, làm rõ vụ việc.
