Ngày 14.9, Cơ quan Cảnh sát điều tra Công an thành phố Cần Thơ cho biết đơn vị đã tống đạt quyết định khởi tố vụ án, khởi tố bị can và bắt tạm giam đối với Nguyễn Vũ Trường (hay còn gọi là "Trường ca sĩ", 40 tuổi) để điều tra về hành vi tổ chức sử dụng trái phép chất ma túy.

Trước đó, từ tin báo của người dân, công an đã tiến hành kiểm tra nơi ở của Nguyễn Vũ Trường (ấp Phú Xuân, xã Châu Thành, thành phố Cần Thơ). Tại đây, công an phát hiện 5 thanh niên đang sử dụng trái phép chất ma túy.
Tại hiện trường, lực lượng chức năng thu giữ nỏ thủy tinh có chứa ma túy đá. Kết quả giám định nước tiểu của 5 người này đều dương tính với loại chất cấm này.
Qua quá trình điều tra, công an xác định Trường là người cung cấp ma túy, địa điểm và cùng sử dụng ma túy chung với nhóm người trên. Tuy nhiên, Trường đã ra khỏi nhà trước khi công an phát hiện.
Hiện vụ tổ chức sử dụng trái phép chất ma túy này được Công an thành phố Cần Thơ tiếp tục điều tra, làm rõ để xử lý theo quy định pháp luật.
