Ngày 26.8, Công an xã Tuy Phước Tây (Gia Lai) xác nhận trên địa bàn vừa xảy ra vụ người đàn ông đốt nhà bạn gái.
Theo thông tin ban đầu, ông N.T.B (54 tuổi, ở thôn Cánh An, xã Tuy Phước Tây) và bà T.T.H (41 tuổi, ở cùng thôn) có quan hệ tình cảm. Gần đây, giữa hai người xảy ra mâu thuẫn.

Khoảng 5 giờ 20 ngày 26.8, ông B. đến nhà bà H. rồi dùng xăng phóng hỏa. Sau đó, ông B. ôm bà H. đứng giữa đám cháy với ý định tự tử.
Nhận tin báo, lực lượng chức năng cùng người dân nhanh chóng đến hiện trường, kịp thời đưa ông B. và bà H. ra ngoài. Cả hai bị thương, được đưa đến bệnh viện cấp cứu.
Vụ cháy thiêu rụi căn nhà cùng nhiều tài sản bên trong, thiệt hại ước tính khoảng 300 triệu đồng.
Sau vụ việc, Công an xã Tuy Phước Tây báo cáo trực ban Công an tỉnh Gia Lai, đồng thời đề xuất chỉ đạo các đơn vị nghiệp vụ phối hợp Viện KSND khu vực 2 khám nghiệm hiện trường, điều tra, làm rõ vụ đốt nhà bạn gái.
