Tài xế dương tính ma túy, chạy quá tốc độ trên quốc lộ 26

Ngày 25.9, Phòng Cảnh sát giao thông Công an tỉnh Đắk Lắk cho biết lực lượng đã phát hiện và xử lý một tài xế điều khiển xe đầu kéo chạy quá tốc độ quy định, dương tính với chất ma túy trên quốc lộ 26.

Trước đó, khoảng 16 giờ 25 phút ngày 24.9, tại Km95+500 quốc lộ 26 (địa phận xã Ea Kar), Đội Cảnh sát giao thông đường bộ số 2 tiến hành kiểm tra xe ô tô đầu kéo biển số 15C - 199.XX kéo theo sơ mi rơ moóc biển số 15RM-002.XX do ông N.V.C (35 tuổi) điều khiển chạy quá tốc độ quy định 55/50 km/h.

Quá trình làm việc, lực lượng chức năng tiếp tục kiểm tra tài xế C. và phát hiện kết quả dương tính với chất ma túy. Vụ việc sau đó được lập hồ sơ để xử lý theo quy định của pháp luật.

Theo cơ quan chức năng, phương tiện vi phạm là loại phương tiện có kích thước, khối lượng lớn, quãng đường phanh dài và đòi hỏi người điều khiển phải luôn duy trì sự tỉnh táo, khả năng quan sát, phản ứng và xử lý tình huống chính xác.

Theo quy định hiện hành, người điều khiển ô tô trên đường mà trong cơ thể có chất ma túy bị phạt tiền từ 30 - 40 triệu đồng; tước quyền sử dụng giấy phép lái xe từ 22 - 24 tháng. Đối với hành vi chạy quá tốc độ, mức xử phạt được xác định theo mức tốc độ vượt quá quy định.

Phòng Cảnh sát giao thông Công an tỉnh Đắk Lắk đang tiếp tục tăng cường tuần tra, kiểm soát trên các tuyến giao thông trọng điểm, tập trung xử lý nghiêm các hành vi vi phạm.
