Phát hiện dấu tích hài cốt liệt sĩ chôn tập thể ở Hội An

Chiều 16.9, ông Nguyễn Tấn Cường, Chủ tịch UBND phường Hội An (thành phố Đà Nẵng), cho biết trong quá trình khai quật, tìm kiếm hài cốt liệt sĩ trên địa bàn, các lực lượng chức năng đã phát hiện dấu tích hài cốt được chôn tập thể cùng nhiều di vật liên quan.

Trước đó, ngày 15.9, Đội Quy tập hài cốt liệt sĩ thuộc Bộ Chỉ huy quân sự thành phố Đà Nẵng phối hợp Ban Chỉ huy quân sự phường Hội An và các lực lượng chức năng tổ chức tìm kiếm, quy tập hài cốt liệt sĩ trên địa bàn tổ dân phố Sơn Phong (phường Hội An).

Trong quá trình khai quật, lực lượng làm nhiệm vụ phát hiện nhiều mảnh xương người đã phân hủy, vỡ vụn và 2 răng người bị phân hủy một phần.

Cùng với các dấu tích hài cốt, lực lượng chức năng còn phát hiện nhiều di vật gồm các mảnh vải quần, áo và tăng nilon đã mục, 3 vỏ đạn, 1 kẹp đạn súng Grân (súng trường M1 Garand), 2 viên đạn grân và 1 viên đạn carbine.

Theo lực lượng chức năng, những dấu tích hài cốt và di vật được phát hiện là cơ sở quan trọng, góp phần phục vụ công tác xác minh, làm rõ thông tin liên quan đến các liệt sĩ.

Hiện các lực lượng chức năng đang tiếp tục tổ chức tìm kiếm, khai quật theo đúng quy trình, bảo đảm chặt chẽ, thận trọng. Đồng thời, hài cốt các liệt sĩ và các di vật được thu gom, bảo quản để thực hiện công tác quy tập theo quy định.
