Ngày 16.9, tin từ UBND phường Rạch Giá (tỉnh An Giang) cho biết, lực lượng chức năng của phường đã có báo cáo ban đầu vụ phát hiện thi thể nam thanh niên bị tai nạn giao thông tử vong tại vòng xoay thuộc khu đô thị lấn biển Phú Cường.

Theo thông tin ban đầu, khoảng 3 giờ 53 ngày 15.9, anh P.H.L (20 tuổi, ở xã Hòn Đất, tỉnh An Giang) điều khiển xe máy biển số 68M6-06.xx lưu thông trên đường 3 Tháng 2, hướng từ Rạch Giá về cầu Kinh Cụt.
Khi đến ngã tư đường 3 Tháng 2 - Phan Thị Ràng, xe của anh L. bất ngờ tông vào vòng xoay thuộc khu đô thị lấn biển Phú Cường (phường Rạch Giá, tỉnh An Giang).
Cú tông mạnh khiến anh L. văng lên bồn hoa vòng xoay, đầu đập xuống đất. Qua khám nghiệm tử thi, cơ quan công an xác định nạn nhân tử vong do chấn thương sọ não.

Theo thông tin gia đình cung cấp, anh L. làm việc ban đêm và lần cuối được nhìn thấy vào khoảng 3 giờ 30 sáng 15.9 tại một quán ăn trên đường Trần Khánh Dư. Khi rời nhà đi làm, anh L. mặc áo thun màu xanh, quần tây đen và điều khiển xe máy biển số 68M6-06xx.
Từ tài liệu thu thập được, công an xác định sau khi anh L. gặp tai nạn, khoảng 4 giờ 10 phút cùng ngày (15.9), sau khi tai nạn xảy ra có 2 người đi xe máy đến, lấy xe của anh rồi rời khỏi hiện trường.
Hiện Công an tỉnh An Giang tiếp tục điều tra, làm rõ vụ nam thanh niên bị tai nạn tử vong, đồng thời truy tìm 2 người lấy xe máy của nạn nhân.
