Ngày 12.10, tin từ Cơ quan CSĐT Công an tỉnh Vĩnh Long cho biết đã tống đạt quyết định khởi tố vụ án, khởi tố bị can và lệnh bắt tạm giam đối với Lê Chí Tưởng (24 tuổi, ở xã Biển Bạch, tỉnh Cà Mau) để điều tra về hành vi hiếp dâm.

Theo điều tra ban đầu, khoảng 22 giờ 30 phút ngày 29.9, chị H.T.Y.N (21 tuổi, ở tỉnh Vĩnh Long) đi làm về, khi đến đoạn đường thuộc ấp Cồn Cù, xã Đông Hải (Vĩnh Long), thì bị một nam thanh niên chạy xe máy ngược chiều khống chế và thực hiện hành vi hiếp dâm rồi rời khỏi hiện trường.
Sau đó, chị N. đến nhà dân gần đó cầu cứu và liên hệ với gia đình. Sau vụ việc, gia đình chị N. trình báo Công an xã Đông Hải.
Xác định đây là vụ án đặc biệt nghiêm trọng, Công an xã Đông Hải nhanh chóng triển khai các biện pháp nghiệp vụ, phối hợp các đơn vị liên quan xác minh, truy xét nghi phạm.
Đến ngày 4.10, lực lượng công an bắt giữ nghi phạm Tưởng để điều tra. Tại cơ quan công an, bước đầu Tưởng đã thừa nhận hành vi phạm tội của mình.
Chủ tịch UBND xã Đông Hải đã quyết định khen thưởng tập thể và các cá nhân thuộc Công an xã Đông Hải có thành tích xuất sắc trong phát hiện, điều tra và bắt giữ nghi phạm.
Hiện vụ án hiếp dâm được cơ quan công an tiếp tục điều tra làm rõ để xử lý theo quy định pháp luật.
