Loạt sút luân lưu giữa Atletico và Real Madrid
Cú "ăn ba" là thuật ngữ chỉ thành tích của một CLB khi giành cả ba danh hiệu lớn trong một mùa giải: giải VĐQG, cúp quốc gia và Champions League. Đến nay, chỉ có tám CLB từng đạt được kỳ tích này, gồm Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Celtic, Ajax, PSV Eindhoven, MU, Inter Milan và Man City. Trong đó, Bayern và Barcelona đã hai lần làm được kỳ tích ấy. Man City là đội gần nhất giành cú ăn ba ở mùa 2022/23.

Bước vào mùa giải 2024/25, sau vòng 1/8 Champions League, chỉ còn bốn CLB còn cơ hội đoạt cú ăn ba: Real Madrid, Barcelona, Inter Milan và PSG.
Real Madrid: Mơ về lần đầu tiên
Real Madrid giành vé vào tứ kết Champions League sau khi vượt qua Atletico Madrid trên loạt sút luân lưu, nơi họ sẽ đối đầu với Arsenal. Ở La Liga, Real Madrid đang đứng thứ hai với 57 điểm, bằng đội đầu bảng Barcelona nhưng thua chỉ số phụ và cũng đá nhiều hơn 1 trận. "Kền kền trắng" sáng cửa vào chung kết Cúp Nhà vua, sau khi thắng Sociedad 1-0 trong trận bán kết lượt đi ngay trên sân đối thủ.
Real Madrid mơ lần đầu tiên đoạt cú ăn ba
Dù là CLB thành công nhất Champions League với 15 lần đăng quang, thật ngạc nhiên là Real Madrid chưa từng giành cú ăn ba. Với lực lượng hiện tại, đoàn quân của HLV Carlo Ancelotti đủ khả năng để đạt tới cột mốc đó. Trên thực tế ở mùa trước, Real Madrid đã ẵm cú đúp La Liga và Champions League, chỉ còn thiếu danh hiệu Cúp Nhà vua để hoàn tất bộ sưu tập.
Barcelona: Chờ tài trí Hansi Flick
Barcelona đánh bại Benfica 4-1 để vào tứ kết Champions League và sẽ gặp Dortmund. Họ dẫn đầu La Liga với 57 điểm, bằng Real Madrid nhưng nhỉnh hơn chỉ số phụ và cũng thi đấu ít hơn một trận. Ở Cúp Nhà vua, Barcelona hòa 4-4 với Atletico Madrid ở trận bán kết lượt đi. Tấm vé vào chung kết Cúp Nhà vua của Bara có lẽ sẽ nhọc nhằn hơn so với Real Madrid.
Barcelona vẫn đang thể hiện sức mạnh
Nếu vô địch cả ba giải đấu, Barcelona sẽ trở thành đội bóng đầu tiên giành cú ăn ba ba lần, sau các mùa 2008/09 và 2014/15. Đáng chú ý, Barca hiện đang được dẫn dắt bởi HLV Hansi Flick, người đã giúp Bayern Munich đoạt cú ăn ba ở mùa giải 2019/20.
Inter Milan: Quyết tái hiện kỳ tích của HLV Mourinho
Inter Milan vượt qua Feyenoord 4-1 để giành vé vào tứ kết Champions League và sẽ chạm trán Bayern Munich. Ở Serie A, họ dẫn đầu với 61 điểm, hơn Napoli 1 điểm. Tại Coppa Italia, Inter đã vào bán kết và sẽ gặp AC Milan. Inter hy vọng tái lập cú ăn ba lịch sử từng giành được vào mùa giải 2009/10 dưới thời HLV Jose Mourinho.

PSG gây bất ngờ khi loại Liverpool ở vòng 1/8 và sẽ đối đầu Aston Villa tại tứ kết Champions League. Dù chưa từng vô địch giải đấu danh giá nhất châu Âu cấp độ CLB, họ vẫn là ứng viên sáng giá cho danh hiệu mùa này.

Ở Ligue 1, PSG đang dẫn đầu với 65 điểm sau 25 vòng, hơn Marseille 16 điểm. Họ cũng đã vào bán kết Cúp Quốc gia Pháp và sẽ gặp Dunkerque. Về cơ bản, PSG luôn vượt trội ở giải quốc nội. Họ từng suýt đoạt cú ăn ba ở mùa giải 2019/20, cuối cùng lại thua Bayern Munich trong trận chung kết Champions League.
