Thiết kế iPhone Duo ưu tiên cho người thuận tay phải?

Với thiết kế có thể gập mở như một cuốn sách, iPhone Duo mang đến màn hình lớn hơn 80% so với mẫu iPhone Pro mới nhất của hãng. Theo Apple, đây là chiếc iPhone mỏng nhất từ trước đến nay (khi ở trạng thái mở hoàn toàn) và sở hữu màn hình bên trong kích thước 7,6 inch.

Tại thị trường Việt Nam, iPhone Duo sẽ có giá khởi điểm 64,999 triệu đồng và dự kiến chính thức lên kệ vào ngày 23.10. Tuy nhiên, thiết kế của chiếc điện thoại này đã gây ra một số tranh cãi, đặc biệt trong cộng đồng người dùng thuận tay trái. Nhiều người đã bày tỏ lo ngại về việc cảm biến mở khóa và các phím điều khiển được đặt hoàn toàn ở cạnh phải, khiến họ cảm thấy như bị Apple bỏ rơi.

Một người dùng trên Reddit đã chia sẻ: "Nhìn vào bố cục iPhone Duo, tôi cảm thấy như đang bị tấn công trực tiếp vào 10% người thuận tay trái". Trong khi đó, một người dùng khác trên mạng xã hội X cũng cho biết: "Trông có vẻ rất giống dành cho người thuận tay phải". Một thành viên khác trên diễn đàn Mac thậm chí đã chỉ ra rằng Apple thường bỏ qua những bất tiện về giao diện người dùng đối với người thuận tay trái và với thiết kế hiện tại, điều này càng tỏ ra đúng hơn.

Theo thống kê, khoảng 10 đến 12% dân số thế giới thuận tay trái, với tỷ lệ này cao hơn ở nam giới. Điều thú vị là vào năm 2010, Steve Jobs từng lên tiếng về việc người thuận tay trái sẽ gặp khó khăn khi sử dụng iPhone 4 vì có thể làm giảm khả năng thu sóng. Ông đã khuyến nghị người dùng nên tránh cầm nắm ở góc dưới bên trái để không che chắn ăng-ten.
