Khoảng 10 giờ ngày 3.10, trong lúc đang xây dựng hàng rào chắn tại khu vực bờ biển đối diện ngã ba nhà thờ Ba Làng, phường Bắc Nha Trang, ông Nguyễn Hoàng Minh (ở phường Hòa Thắng, tỉnh Khánh Hòa), phát hiện một thi thể phụ nữ trôi dạt gần bờ biển.
Sau khi phát hiện sự việc, ông Minh cùng một số người dân xuống biển đưa thi thể vào bờ và trình báo Công an phường Bắc Nha Trang.
Tiếp nhận tin báo, lực lượng Công an phường Bắc Nha Trang phối hợp các đơn vị liên quan đến bảo vệ hiện trường, tiến hành các thủ tục xác minh. Nạn nhân được xác định là bà N.T.X.H, 61 tuổi, ở tổ 4, phường Bắc Nha Trang.

Cơ quan chức năng sau đó tiến hành khám nghiệm sơ bộ hiện trường và tử thi. Thi thể nạn nhân được đưa đến nhà xác Bệnh viện đa khoa Khánh Hòa để phục vụ công tác xác minh, điều tra.
Các đơn vị nghiệp vụ Công an tỉnh Khánh Hòa đang tiếp tục làm rõ nguyên nhân tử vong và các tình tiết liên quan vụ việc.
