Ngày 30.9, Ban Thường vụ Thành ủy TP.HCM tổ chức lễ công bố và trao quyết định về công tác cán bộ. Ông Trần Lưu Quang, Ủy viên Bộ Chính trị, Bí thư Thành ủy TP.HCM, chủ trì buổi lễ.
Tại buổi lễ, lãnh đạo Ban Tổ chức Thành ủy TP.HCM công bố quyết định của Ban Bí thư về việc bổ nhiệm ông Trần Thế Thông, thư ký của ông Trần Lưu Quang, giữ chức trợ lý Bí thư Thành ủy TP.HCM Trần Lưu Quang.
Bí thư Thành ủy TP.HCM Trần Lưu Quang đã trao quyết định và tặng hoa chúc mừng ông Trần Thế Thông.
Ông Trần Thế Thông sinh năm 1989, quê tỉnh Long An (nay là tỉnh Tây Ninh). Ông có trình độ cử nhân kinh tế lao động và quản lý nguồn nhân lực, cử nhân tư tưởng Hồ Chí Minh, cao cấp lý luận chính trị.
Trước đó, vào tháng 10.2025, khi đang là Vụ trưởng, thư ký của ông Trần Lưu Quang (thời điểm đó là Bí thư Trung ương Đảng, nguyên Trưởng ban Chính sách, chiến lược Trung ương), ông Trần Thế Thông được Ban Thường vụ Thành ủy TP.HCM tiếp nhận, bổ nhiệm giữ chức thư ký Bí thư Trung ương Đảng, Bí thư Thành ủy TP.HCM Trần Lưu Quang.
