Theo thông tin ban đầu, khoảng 10 giờ cùng ngày, người dân phát hiện nam thanh niên tử vong trong nhà trọ trong tư thế treo cổ trên đường Tân Thới Nhất, TP.HCM nên báo công an.
Nhận tin báo, lực lượng công an địa phương cùng các đơn vị nghiệp vụ liên quan đến phong tỏa, điều tra. Nạn nhân được xác định là anh Đ.C.Q (32 tuổi, ở TP. Đà Nẵng).
Đến đầu giờ chiều cùng ngày, công tác khám nghiệm hiện trường mới hoàn tất. Thi thể nam thanh niên tử vong trong phòng trọ được đưa về nhà xác tiếp tục làm rõ nguyên nhân.
