Ngày 15.9, Cơ quan CSĐT Công an tỉnh Gia Lai cho biết đã khởi tố Phùng Văn Ý (41 tuổi) và Vũ Lê Hoàn (31 tuổi, cùng trú tại phường Ngô Quyền, thành phố Hải Phòng) để điều tra về hành vi cho vay lãi nặng trong giao dịch dân sự.
Cho vay với lãi suất lên đến 304,16%/năm, Phùng Văn Ý và Vũ Lê Hoàn bị Công an tỉnh Gia Lai khởi tố

Trước đó, qua công tác nắm tình hình, Phòng Cảnh sát kinh tế Công an tỉnh Gia Lai phát hiện Ý và Hoàn có biểu hiện hoạt động cho vay lãi nặng trên địa bàn các phường Diên Hồng, Thống Nhất và Hội Phú nên triệu tập cả 2 đến làm việc.
Tại cơ quan công an, bước đầu Ý và Hoàn khai nhận đã cho 3 người dân trên địa bàn các phường Pleiku, Diên Hồng và Thống Nhất vay tổng cộng hơn 1,8 tỉ đồng.
Đáng chú ý, lãi suất mà các đối tượng áp dụng lên đến 304,16%/năm. Với mức lãi suất này, Ý và Hoàn đã thu lợi bất chính hơn 431 triệu đồng.
Cơ quan CSĐT Công an tỉnh Gia Lai đang tiếp tục điều tra, củng cố hồ sơ để xử lý vụ việc theo quy định pháp luật.
