ĐT Việt Nam tập trung trở lại cho các trận đấu quốc tế trong tháng 3, và mới đây trung vệ Đỗ Duy Mạnh đã có những chia sẻ về tình hình của đội trước 2 trận gặp Campuchia (19h30, 19/3) & Lào (19h30, 25/3).

"Cảm giác của tôi khi lên tập trung đội tuyển luôn rất vui. Không khí toàn đội cũng đang rất hào hứng, vì đã lâu rồi mới gặp lại nhau. Đây cũng là cảm giác chung của cả đội. Hiện tại, tôi đã ổn và có thể quay trở lại tập luyện cùng đội. Một số anh em gặp chấn thương nhẹ và phải tập phục hồi cùng bác sĩ để sớm lấy lại thể trạng tốt nhất, qua đó có thể quay lại tập luyện và thi đấu", Duy Mạnh nói.

"Các quyết định đều do ban huấn luyện đưa ra. Tôi cũng mong rằng các đồng đội, dù là những cầu thủ giàu kinh nghiệm hay các cầu thủ trẻ, sẽ sớm thích nghi và hòa nhập tốt nhất. Ai cũng cần thể hiện tốt bản thân để có thể thi đấu thật tốt cho đội tuyển. Sự cạnh tranh càng khốc liệt thì càng tốt và tích cực cho đội tuyển quốc gia Việt Nam. Hy vọng tất cả mọi người đều có thể trạng tốt nhất để cống hiến hết mình cho bóng đá Việt Nam".

"Về thời tiết, hôm qua khi đội di chuyển vào Bình Dương, buổi chiều có mưa nên cũng gây ra đôi chút khó khăn. Tuy nhiên, tôi tin rằng các đồng đội sẽ cố gắng thích nghi để làm quen với điều kiện thời tiết, từ đó có thể tập luyện và thi đấu tốt hơn".

ĐT Việt Nam sau chức vô địch AFF Cup 2024 sẽ có bộ mặt mới như thế nào? Duy Mạnh cho biết: "Về những đánh giá chuyên môn, tôi xin nhường lại cho các anh chị báo chí và các HLV, để họ có cái nhìn khách quan hơn về vai trò của từng cầu thủ. Là một cầu thủ, tôi chỉ biết cố gắng hết mình trên sân, tập luyện và thi đấu tốt. Mong rằng tất cả mọi người sẽ thể hiện tốt vai trò của mình để mang lại kết quả tốt đẹp cho bóng đá Việt Nam trong hai trận đấu sắp tới".

Trong lúc này, CLB Thanh Hóa vừa gây bất ngờ khi chiêu mộ Damoth Thongkhamsavath, cầu thủ Lào đầu tiên trong lịch sử V-League, và có khả năng cầu thủ gốc Việt này sẽ đối đầu với ĐT Việt Nam ở trận đấu tới. Được hỏi về thông tin này, Duy Mạnh đáp: "Tôi có biết thông tin qua báo chí. Trước mắt, toàn đội sẽ tập trung hướng về đội tuyển và cố gắng tập luyện, thi đấu thật tốt".

"Đối thủ sắp tới của đội tuyển Việt Nam là Campuchia và Lào. Tôi nghĩ rằng không có trận đấu nào là dễ dàng. Toàn đội cần làm việc chăm chỉ để có sự chuẩn bị tốt nhất, qua đó thi đấu thật tốt trước hai đối thủ này".
