Công ty CP Vận tải biển và Thương mại Phương Đông vừa công bố thông tin về việc ông Lê Thế Việt, Phó tổng giám đốc công ty, bị Cơ quan CSĐT Công an TP.Quảng Ninh khởi tố về tội trộm cắp tài sản.
Theo Văn bản số 148/2026/CV ngày 13.10 gửi Sở Giao dịch chứng khoán Hà Nội, Công ty CP Vận tải biển và Thương mại Phương Đông cho biết, công ty này đã nhận được thông báo của cơ quan công an liên quan đến việc khởi tố ông Lê Thế Việt.
Cụ thể, Cơ quan CSĐT Công an TP.Quảng Ninh đã ra quyết định khởi tố bị can đối với ông Việt về tội trộm cắp tài sản, quy định tại điều 173 bộ luật Hình sự.
Cùng với quyết định khởi tố, cơ quan điều tra áp dụng các biện pháp ngăn chặn đối với ông Việt, gồm cấm đi khỏi nơi cư trú và tạm hoãn xuất cảnh.
Sau khi nhận được thông báo của cơ quan công an, Hội đồng quản trị Công ty CP Vận tải biển và Thương mại Phương Đông đã ban hành nghị quyết tạm đình chỉ chức vụ Phó tổng giám đốc đối với ông Lê Thế Việt kể từ ngày 12.10. Đồng thời, giao Tổng giám đốc thực hiện các thủ tục liên quan đến việc tạm dừng công việc, hợp đồng lao động đối với ông Việt theo quy định.
