Ngày 3.10, Phòng Cảnh sát kinh tế Công an tỉnh Đắk Lắk cho biết đã ra quyết định khởi tố vụ án, khởi tố 4 bị can (trong 1 gia đình) cùng 2 đồng phạm, để điều tra về hành vi buôn bán hàng cấm là thuốc lá lậu.

Theo cơ quan chức năng, 4 bị can cùng gia đình, gồm: Trần Công Đức (65 tuổi), vợ là Đinh Thị Thu Hồng (60 tuổi), con gái là Trần Thị Kiều Trinh (38 tuổi), con dâu Phạm Thị Na (36 tuổi, cùng ở xã Krông Pắk).
Hai bị can khác là Đinh Ngọc Cường (32 tuổi, ở xã Hòa Phú) và Nguyễn Thị Cẩm Huyên (20 tuổi, ở TP.HCM).
Trước đó, khoảng 11 giờ 50 phút ngày 18.9, Phòng Cảnh sát kinh tế Công an tỉnh Đắk Lắk tiến hành kiểm tra tại các cửa hàng và kho của gia đình ông Đức ở xã Krông Pắk.
Tại đây, lực lượng công an phát hiện, thu giữ 876 cây thuốc lá nhập lậu các loại (tương đương 8.760 bao). Các đối tượng khai nhận đã mua số thuốc lá trên từ nhiều nguồn khác nhau rồi đưa về kho cất giấu để bán lại kiếm lời.
Tiếp tục đấu tranh mở rộng, Phòng Cảnh sát kinh tế Công an tỉnh Đắk Lắk xác định số thuốc lá lậu trên do Cường và Huyên nhiều lần bán cho gia đình ông Đức.
Hiện vụ án đang được Phòng Cảnh sát kinh tế Công an tỉnh Đắk Lắk tiếp tục điều tra mở rộng để xử lý các đối tượng có liên quan.
